About the Book

This book is actually the hand written notes for the students preparing for RPSC 1^st grade (School Lecture) exam i.e., PGT Physics. This is second volume in which five chapters are discussed. First chapter deals with the mechanical properties of matter in which elasticity, stress, strain etc. are discussed. Second chapter provides the information about the fluid dynamics, different flow of liquid, Bernoulli’s theorem, Pascal’s law and other topics are discussed in this chapter. Chapter three is for Gaseous state of matter. Last two chapters i.e., chapter four and five are related to thermodynamics, thermometry and calorimetry, where different temperature scales and different law of thermodynamics are discussed.
