There are two types of charge, positive and negative.
Positive charge due to proton and negative charge due to electrons.
There is no third charge in universe.

Charge is always found to be in packets, not continuous.
Charge given to a body is always an integral multiple of a smallest unit of charge and this smallest unit of charge is equal to the charge of electron and its value is e = 1.6*10-19C

Conservation of charge
The charge can neither be created, nor be destroyed, it can only be transferred from one part of the system to another part.
The total charge of an isolated system is always constant.

It is scalar quantity.
Charges are of two types; positive and negative.
