• केरीफॉस्टर सेतु तार का अंशांकन करना (अर्थात् तार की प्रति एकांक लम्बाई का प्रतिरोध ज्ञात करनाद्) तथा तार के पदार्थ का विशिष्ट प्रतिरोध ज्ञात करना [Calibration of the Carey Foster’s bridge wire (i.e., to determine resistance per unit length of the wire), and determination of the specific resistance of the material of the given wire]
• विभवमापी के उपयोग द्वारा दिये गये तापयुग्म के लिये ताप के साथ ताप विद्युत वाहक बल (thermo e.m.f.) के परिवर्तन का अध्ययन करना, ताप विद्युत वाहक बल तथा उदासीन ताप ज्ञात करना [Study of the variation of thermo e.m.f. with temperature, for a given thermocouple using a potentiometer, measurement of thermo e.m.f. and determination of neutral temperature]
